Name of the Post – Assistant Teacher of LP Schools & Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, Hindi Teacher of UP Schools.

Salary- Pay Band- 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14000/- to Rs. 70,000 Plus Grade Pay and other allowances.
Educational Qualifications
1. Lower Primary School –

Age Limit for BTC LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024
A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than
(i) 40 years for unreserved category (UR)
(ii) 42 years for Ex- Servicemen
(iii) 43 years for OBC/MOBC
(iv) 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)
(v) 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January 2023
Other Eligibility Criteria
1.The Language-I of the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/CTET & BTC TET of the candidate shall match the medium of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.
As for example, if a candidate wishes to apply in an Assamese Medium School, the candidate must have Assamese as Language-I in the Assam TET/CTET/BTC TET. Likewise, for Bodo as Bodo Language School, the candidate must have Bodo as Language-Lin Assam TET/CTET/BTCTET conducted by the Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Marking/Weightage for BTC LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024
1.For Lower Primary Teacher –
Academic Weightage –
(i) 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examinations.
(ii) 5℅ of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) examination or Diploma in Education (Special Education).
(iii) 85% of marks secured in Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary Schools.
Sportsperson Weightage –
(a) NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate.
Or
(b) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing State or Nation.
Or
(c) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine Arts and Cultural Activities representing State at National Level or Beyond representing State or Nation (Organised by recognized institutions)
Maximum Total Marks = 100
2. For Upper Primary Teacher –
Academic Weightage –
(i) 5% of marks secured in Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examinations.
(ii) 5% of marks secured in Graduation examination. In case of candidate having Major in any subject, the marks secured in Major subject shall be taken into consideration.
(iii) 5% of marks secured in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) examination or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)
(iv) 80% of marks secured in Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Schools.
Sportsperson Weightage –
(a) NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate
Or
(b) 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing State or Nation.
Or

Selection Procedure for BTC LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024
(i) The Selection of the Candidates shall be strictly in order of merit on the basis of Weightage obtained by the Candidates.
(ii) The Merit List will be separate for each district and category.
(iii) Candidates belonging to BTR shall be given 1st Preference.
Documents Required to be Uploaded
(i) Passport Size Photograph .
(ii) HSLC Admit Card.
(iii) HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate
(iv)Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate.
(v) Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
(vi) DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
(vii) Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST(P)/ST(H/OBC/МОВС )
(viii) Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
(ix) Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET/BTC TET for UPS.
(x) Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority
(xi) Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director Sainik Welfare Board.
(xii) BTC residential certificate from the concerned authority.
(xiii) Scanned Signature.
